I was thinking about getting AG1, but this seems similar. When I take it in an empty stomach I really notice that it energizes me. Flavor is fine and it mixes well with just water.

Sweet – Not Green. Not what I was looking for.
I was so hoping to love this. Garden of Life makes good products but this fell short for me.There is no ‘green’ flavor to it which might suit others but I didn’t want a sweet powder. It’s sickening sweet to me. Yuck. I like the earthy green flavor. This is not that.And as for nutrient content – If you eat enough concentrated greens – it shows up in your bowel movements. This – nothing. I didn’t have it tested but I suspect the bulk of the greens has been processed out of it or wasn’t there to begin with.It has an odd bluish green color to it when it gets wet. I can’t decide if I think that’s an artificial color or what it is… but it’s not kale or spinach green – it’s blue green. Maybe that’s spirulina or something but it didn’t appeal to my senses.Again, maybe this is all ok with others but I have health concerns that benefit from large amounts of leafy greens (and whole foods in general) and I have a hard time consuming enough otherwise. Concentrates are useful if they’re clean – but this seems like pretend processed wannabe greens.I will not be purchasing this again. I decided to go with single ingredient bulk type products rather than a supplement. It’s much better for my needs (and tastes like greens should).

Good for a healthy morning
As described, buyer beware that it doesn’t taste like candy. It’s for sure a health drink. I like to mix it into my protein shake to try and mask the flavor a little and luckily that does the trick. I get a slight aftertaste when it’s mixed into protein but it’s completely bearable, definitely not the worst mix I’ve tried. I’d buy this again.

Excellent Greens Product and Good Value
After my favorite greens product became unsustainably expensive, I went on the hunt for new super greens powder to add to my morning power shake. After trying at least a half-dozen organic greens from various brands, this Garden of LIfe Sport Version is the clear winner.Firstly – it doesn’t taste like you’ve emptied your lawnmower bag into your drink. No bitter green flavor and tastes pleasant.Secondly – a great mix of organic greens, superfoods, vitamins, probiotics, and more. I would only ever ingest an all-organic mix of these foods, as given boosting my health as a primary goal, I want to avoid the pesticide and herbicide residues found in conventially-grown foods.Thirdly – Garden of LIfe is a long-established brand that I trust. From it’s inception, Garden of Life has offered the highest quality, organic superfood products and supplements, and been an industry leader in this regard.For the quality, great combination of organic ingredients, this is a solid value for the 30 servings per canister as a daily health and energy booster. 5-STARS.

I got the apple berry flavor to try as an add-in supplement to help with my health and to help me recover after a couple surgeries I’ll have later in the year.SOME FACTS/DETAILS:The product comes in a plastic canister with a screw on lid. There’s a seal inside (a little difficult to get off without ripping). The powder is a dark, earthy green color and does not smell too pleasant. There is a plastic scoop inside to help measure out the serving size. Mine has an expiration date of 12/2025 (It’s currently 2/2024.) It’s organic, vegan, gluten free, and diary free.THOUGHTS/OPINION:When I first opened it, the color of the powder seemed a bit off-putting. It reminded me of dirt and mold. It didn’t smell too great either. I decided to try this three different ways – by adding this to water, carrot juice, and oatmeal.- WATER – I tried it in some cold, filtered water. It did not mix too well and did not completely dissolve. It had a little bit of a grit to it and tasted exactly how it smelled when I first opened it – not great. Fortunately, it did not leave an aftertaste. I couldn’t finish a full glass.- CARROT JUICE – Wow! This tastes incredible in carrot juice!….my eyes widened, my tastebuds cheered, and my neurons lit up! It tasted amazing! So much better than I was imagining. It did turn the carrot juice an ugly brown color, but that was expected. I could taste the apple berry flavor even with the carrot and it enhanced the taste of this beverage. This is a great combination!- OATMEAL – I mixed some of this in with my apple cinnamon oatmeal. Of course it turned my oatmeal green, but it mixed well. It changed the flavor a little and I wasn’t too impressed. I prefer my oatmeal without it.CONCLUSION:This stuff is pretty good when taken with something other than water. I think it can taste great in other things, especially carrot juice, and probably other health drinks and smoothies. It has many vitamins and nutrients, including pre and probiotics. I would say it’s worth a try.
